چکیده
The present work aimed to assess the ambient levels of air pollution with particulate matter for both mass concentrations and number particles various fractions in Ploiesti city during lockdown period determined by COVID-19 pandemic (March–June 2020). PM10 continuously monitored data was retrieved from four quality automatic stations that are connected Romanian National Network Monitoring Air Quality located city. Because no other information available more dangerous fractions, we used monitoring campaigns employing Lighthouse 3016 IAQ particle counter near locations assessing size-segregated fraction (PM0.5, PM1, PM2.5, PM5, PM10, TPM) concentration (differential Δ) range between 0.3 10 microns specified timeline 8.00 11.00 a.m., which were considered morning rush hours interval. Interpolation maps estimating spatial distribution PM drawn using IDW algorithm ArcGIS 10.8.2. Regarding count 0.5 lockdown, smallest recorded when restriction citizens’ movement declared (24 March 2020), 5.8-times lower (17,301.3 particles/cm3) compared a common day outside (100,047.3 particles/cm3). Similar results observed sizes. concentrations, smaller higher middle west PM2.5) while concentrated west. These strongly related traffic patterns. analysis is useful establish impact assessment urban exposure better planning. Long-term conjunction pollutants aerosols can lead potential adverse effects on population, especially residents most impacted areas.

Chemical Speciation of Particulate Matter Pollution in Urban Dhaka City
Dhaka, the capital and largest city of Bangladesh, lacks a regular air pollution monitoring network to measure and assess ambient air pollution level. Several academic and research projects attempted to measure a limited number of air pollutants near roadways in the central business district. These studies revealed that ambient concentrations of lead, benzene, particulate matter, carbon monoxid...
متن کاملHealth Impacts of Particulate Matter in Air using AirQ Model in Khorramabad City, Iran
Introduction: Air pollution due to particulate matter is a major environmental and health issue in all regions of the world. The aim of this study was to investigate the health impacts of PM10 (particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter ≤10μm) in Khorramabad city, Iran in 2014. Materials and methods: In this study, PM10 sampling was conducted by a high-volume sampler at flow rate of 1.1-1...

Introduction: The aim of this study was to spatial analysis of PM10 concentrations in the ambient air of Yazd in two seasons, and the zoning by using Kriging interpolation method. Finally, different factors affecting the concentrations of PM10 are marked and standards have been investigated Material and methods: The measurement of PM10 particulates was performed by the monitoring device HAZ-...
متن کاملFine particulate matter (PM2.5) in China at a city level
This study presents one of the first long term datasets including a statistical summary of PM2.5 concentrations obtained from one-year monitoring in 190 cities in China. We found only 25 out of 190 cities could meet the National Ambient Air Quality Standards of China, and the population-weighted mean of PM2.5 in Chinese cities are 61 μg/m(3), ~3 times as high as global population-weighted mean,...
